HipChat web chat beta from their browser

web version of HipChat being ‘in the works’.  Well, after a week of recovery, we’re eager to let our users try it out and give some feedback.  Starting today, anyone can access HipChat web chat beta from their browser by going to http://www.hipchat.com/chat (you just need to log in first). We’ve tried to keep the UI pretty familiar for those of you that run the client.  Also, as much as we wish we could conjure feature parity out of thin air, the web version is still a work-in-progress.  You won’t have access to all the features you find in the client, but we’ve tried to include the most important ones:

Accessing SciFinder Scholar on Safari

1.After clicking on the SciFinder Scholar link, you will be brought to the following page. Please enter your campus ID and CSULB Library Password/PIN. Note this password can be different from your MyCSULB password.

2.Once you have entered the information above, you will get the following error dialog box. If you do not want to get this error message again, click on “Show Certificate” and select “Always trust “mcc1.library.csulb.edu” when connecting to mcc1.library.csulb.edu”. Then simply click on “Continue” to proceed.

3.You are now set to login into the SciFinder site.
